How to torrent off of Public Disney WiFi / Disney WiFi hotspots

Disney has free internet all over property, and if you live near here you can probably take a Lynx bus right to Magic Kingdom. Well I speak for myself here in saying that where I live all I have is my unlimited virgin mobile phone internet, which I can tether, but that would use all my data (2.5gb = about two movies).

So if you don't have internet, want to download stuff, follow this quick guide because it's really really simple.

Just have any device with a torrent client installed (bittorrent, utorrent, transmission, vuze, I PREFER 'qbittorrent' its open source and pretty dang nice)

Now head to your settings of that client and find the 'connection settings' find where you could enter a proxy and head over to http://proxylist.hidemyass.com/ and pick out a proxy for these fields and copy paste it right in with the port in the right boxes too, some clients like to separate the IP from the port and have two separate places for each value.

Once that is done, go ahead and load a torrent and see if it works, chances are it will, but if it fails to load and begin, try using another proxy. If you are using the pirate bay or anything public you may have issues, there are plenty private torrent trackers you can make a free account to use though so go look around. TorrentDay Speed.cd IPTorrents, etc are all decent speed wise.

Disney has very good internet speeds, per user they are locked to roughly 20Mbps, which is pretty fast for free everywhere all over wifi, but they are also very good with security, but there is almost no way around this workaround. Disney has most of the trackers and their server IPs blocked so you cannot resolve peers and seeds in order to begin the torrents initial download. With this workaround you should be able to torrent any other places that peers/seeds wouldnt resolve as well.

To install:

-Unzip it, unzip it real good.

-Enable Developer Mode on your Chrome Browser.

The utility is intended to work on CFW CEX/DEX 3.41, 3.55, 4.21, 4.30, 4.31, 4.40, 4.41, 4.46, 4.50, 4.53, 4.55, 4.60 and 4.65

There has been expanded support for more CEX Based CFW's in recent updates like support for CFW 4.41, CFW 4.46 and all DEX firmwares. Rebug 4.30.2 DREX works just fine in DEX mode as well. 

To prevent a system halt (black screen), you must patch the LV1/LV2 memory running multiMAN or Iris Manager prior execute Control Fan Utility.

3DS 4.5 - 9.2 Downgrade for 3DS only

You need a Gateway card for this!!!

4.5-9.2 downgrade instructions:

1. Copy the gateway launcher.dat and the gateway.dg file onto the root of your 3DS SD card.

2. Turn off wifi and open the 3DS Internet Browser. Enter settings and delete cookies.

3. Restart 3DS

4. Turn wifi on and open the 3DS Internet Browser. Click URL and enter go.gateway-3ds.com

5. Navigate to the backup NAND option and create a backup of your NAND. This is important if you ever desire to return to your previous FW.

6. Power off your 3DS by holding the power button. Place the SD card into your computer and copy the NAND.bin somewhere safe. I've included a folder for your backup in this torrent. Be sure to copy not move the backup as it is required on the SD card to complete the downgrade.

7. Put the SD card back into the 3DS and  redo steps 2-4.

8. Navigate to the downgrade option (far right) and start the downgrade

*NOTE* This process will not work on 2DS.

To restore your NAND backup enter the gateway menu again and this time when the option downgrade is highlighted simply hold up on the d pad when you click it. It will restore from the NAND.bin on your SD card. If you are unable to use the browser exploit after your downgrade you must own a NDS flash card such as a supercard dstwo to install the profile exploit. This exploit is included in the torrent.

I am not responsible for any damage done to your 3DS system. Do this at your own risk. I have only tested the USA downgrade as I do not own any other region 3DS systems.
